About Our Clean & Sober Housing Program

Jesus is our HIGHER POWER!

amazon registry.jpeg

Jesus is God Ministry’s Your Hope and Future program offers clean and sober housing for men who are struggling with active addiction, looking for recovery support, are re-entering society after treatment in a drug and/or alcohol rehabilitation program, or have mental health issues and need housing. Some of our program participants are former prison inmates or have been homeless. All criminal backgrounds will be considered. We do not discriminate against age, disability, race or religion.

Support whether you are HOMELESS, in TRANSITION, or need LONG-TERM HOUSING...

We currently have five homes in our housing program, located in Des Moines, Tukwila and Renton, WA. We will be opening a 6th home very soon (2024). Our housing program has different phases to help each person at the stage they are at to meet your specific needs when you arrive in our housing.

"I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.

For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care. For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ."

- I Corinthians 3:6-11 (NIV)

Our programs are supportive of AA, NA and all recovery programs.

Housing for Veterans

If you are a vet who is disabled or aging, our veterans program will help those who need additional care to get it though the Aging and Disability Services as necessary to support you. We have applied for a grant with King County, which may give us funding to pay for full-time care; we are awaiting that decision and expect to know either way by the end of April 2024.

Our veterans homes — like all of our homes — are built on family, friendship and love. We want you to feel like our home is yours. Our supported housing will help you get to appointments as necessary, and our passenger bus loves to go on outings to help your stay in our home feel interesting and natural.

Your dedication to fight for our country means everything to us
and we want to be there to support you through this time.

We also accept veterans with criminal backgrounds, all will be considered. And we accept vets with mental impairment or illness, as long as they’re able to care for themselves. We have single and double rooms available and a family-oriented living environment to call home.

Housing for Addiction Recovery

We also offer veterans and other men a drug/alcohol addicton accountability program to help you stay away from your addictions or to help you not re-offend and end up back in prison. We do this with one-on-one mentoring, support groups such as AA/NA, and Celebrate Recovery. We also offer UAs and Breathalyzers as necessary to help you be accountable in your recovery.

Housing for Re-Entry from Prison

If you’re re-entering society from prison, we follow all DOC rules and help to support you in staying compliant with your judgment and sentencing rules based on DOC’s requirements. DOC is our friend and we want them to be yours. Our main goal is to help you move forward in your life to become the most productive person you can be, with love and support. Our supported housing will help you get to all of your appointments, to help you move along in your life toward your future goals.

Housing for Mental Illness

If you’re experiencing mental health issues and need supportive housing, our Clean & Sober Housing program is here to help you. Our supportive housing will help transport you to doctor’s appointments and medication appointments as necessary. If you feel that you need an accountability partner to help you when it’s time to take your medication, we are here to support you. It’s very important to us that everyone feels loved, welcomed, and are treated respectfully regardless of how they feel about their life.

How it Works

All of our homes are clean and sober living for men only. Although our leadership has a relationship with Jesus, we do not require anyone to believe what we believe, we simply offer the way of life that changed us. We’re not a religious program, we’re a spiritual program. We believe in relationship, not religion.

We do have AA and NA meetings available as well as Celebrate Recovery meetings if you’d like to attend them throughout the week. We also offer Bible studies and prayer meetings if that is something you would like to attend. We meet at 12pm on Sundays to fellowship and after our time together we have a meal. We have a full-time homeless outreach that you could be a part of, where we go out daily to feed the homeless, encourage them, and create intentional relationships with people on the street so they know there’s somewhere for them to go when they are ready.

Regardless of what struggle you are experiencing, or if you have no struggle and you’re just looking for family, you’ve come to the right place. We have six homes in Des Moines, Tukwila and Renton.

What Our Program Members Say

"Jesus is God Ministry is a well centered program for people in need of housing. They took me in when most housing programs would not accept people with my medical issues.  We are a family with love in our home. I am happy I get to spend the end of my life with people who truly care about me and love Jesus."
